Trip of 2017

How many time zones have you been in? After this trip I will have been in all four time zones throughout the US! Our trip began in Utah which is in the Mountain time zone. We spent about 2 ½ weeks in the Mountain time zone. We went North and then we went East into the Central time zone. We were in the Central time zone for about 1 month before heading into the Eastern time zone. Currently we have been in the Eastern time zone for about a month and a half and we will be here for about another month and a half before we go to California in the Pacific time zone.

In the mountain time zone I had so much fun. Our first stop was Lagoon. Lagoon is a theme park and the rides are huge! I went on the second scariest ride in the park. It had a 200 foot drop straight down. Also we went to a 75 foot drop Roller coaster that went down and did about 3 upsidedown loopty loops. Our next destination was Idaho. We had a long drive. We were going through a small town and we saw white water rafting. Dad immediately put on the GoPro and we prepared to have fun. Within the first 50 feet of our rafting, we went down a waterfall and flipped the raft. Once we finished gasping for air we realized we lost our GoPro! But it was still fun. Our next adventure was the third of July in Butte Montana. We went and watched a fireworks show.  The adults were on the grass while the kids played on a spinny bar that was like a merry-go-round on a pole.  Then on the Fourth of July, in Bozeman, we sat on our blankets and watched the Fourth of July concert. Next we went to Yellowstone and it was amazing! The geysers were small at first. The water was beautiful. Some water was sky/baby blue and it reminded me of Hawaii. Some geysers were orange at the bottom. Then we saw her… Old Faithful. She burst so high, about 80 ft in the air with boiling hot water.  It was like nothing I had ever seen. In conclusion, this time zone was a bundle full of joy.

We then went to the Central time zone. In South Dakota we headed out to Mount Rushmore! And then guess what? Siri sent my family in the wrong direction for an hour! Therefore we missed the light show at night time. It was my brother’s birthday and we celebrated his birthday by going to Mount Rushmore. Mount Rushmore was a beautiful sight. We also saw the Crazy Horse Memorial. It was made because the Indians wanted to have a memorial  for their heroes just like the white men have Mt. Rushmore. The Crazy Horse Memorial is a rock carving that is carved into a mountain with a famous Indian, named Crazy Horse, riding his horse. Our next stop was the Wisconsin Dells Aerial Park. The Wisconsin Dells Aerial Park was a group of obstacles that hung about 3 feet, 20 feet, and 60 feet in the air. My entire family had to cross with the ropes with only a tether. It was hard, scary, and it was amazingly fun. Next we went to Noah’s Arc. Noah’s Arc is the biggest waterpark in the world we’ve been told. It was huge! One of my favorite rides was one that could fit my whole family into a black and white tube and we did loopty loops around a sphere. Then  we were in Chicago. We went on a boat tour, on the Michigan river,  that taught about the architecture of the city. We also had the best pizza ever. It was a deep dish Chicago pizza at Giovanni’s. It had cheese in the middle and it was really cheesy. Next we went to the aquarium. It had all types of fish.  There were deep ocean fish and fresh water fish. Therefore, of the two time zones, this time zone was my favorite.

We are now in the Eastern time zone. We went to Indiana to meet some friends at Notre Dame college. We brought the football and we saw a lot of cool stuff on the campus of Notre Dame. We walked around through the library and across the Notre Dame campus. We also played football in front of Touchdown Jesus. The next week we went to Mackinac Island. It has horse drawn carriages and bicycles for transportation. We had to get there by ferry. Mackinac Island is famous for their fudge. We got fudge and hiked around. The sight was beautiful; the water was turquoise blue. We are now at the Henry Ford Museum. We walked in and we saw trains, we saw cars, and we saw many more things. We saw the chair that Abraham Lincoln was assassinated in, we saw the president’s cars, we saw the evolution of the car. We saw so much more that we thought we couldn’t see any more. But we were wrong. We went outside and we walked around and it turns out Henry Ford collected houses from all over the US of famous people. He had the Wright Brother’s bicycle shop and he also had their childhood home. He had Tesla’s house as well as many other famous people’s homes. He collected and moved each house brick by brick, plank by plank. This timezone far exceeded my expectations.

My two favorite places for each time zone were;  white water rafting and Lagoon for the Mountain time zone. For the Central time zone I liked the Areal Park and the Mount Rushmore. Next for the Eastern time zone, I liked the Ford Museum and Boston. Also in New York the Statue of Liberty! Therefore the Eastern time zone has been my favorite time zone of all and it keeps getting better and better. So stay tuned for my next blog post about the fourth time zone.

Beach Day!

Were going to the Hamptons!

We are in the car and bursting with laughter. We are going to the beach! In my head I thought, “Man, I hope I find a lot of sea shells and maybe some big ones too.” Yes! I can see the beach from here! But wait, We need to park our trailer. We found a five dollar parking lot and we bought a parking ticket. Then two more trailers parked next to us. And we went to the beach.  On the way there we “barricaded” my mother. (btw barricaded means running and flopping down in front of  my mother) We got there and I searched for some seashells. Also I made a chair out of sand and it was comfy. Then we left after an hour and we went to a campsite and guess what?! We were next to the same people from the parking area!. After we got setup, I want down into a little beach and there was a huge skeleton of a dead fish in the bushes. Also, there was a huge amount of sea shells and they were humongous! In my opinion that was a good day.

Maine

We’re going to maine! it is so exciting! we are going to eat crab and lobster and were also going to the harbour and the beach. we might go and trap some lobsters if it’s not too expensive.

We went down through Portland and it was beautiful! the buildings were nice and comforting. Also the restaurant we went to was expensive and fun. It was a boat transformed into a restaurant! It was on the dock and it’s food tasted Amazing! I got the crab roll. It tasted sweet, cold, smooth, and fishy.

After the drive we got to our destination. The Head Light. only the most photographed lighthouse in america! We went for a walk ant we saw it and we saw the beach I got a few rocks for my cousins so I could give them a rock from main and the most photographed light house in the USA. Also I’m going to give them a bunch of rocks from different places across the country. I hope there excited!

D day adventure park

Just a few days ago we went to the biggest water-park in the world! it was huge! But first things first we went to a d day adventure park. There were three levels each level is how hard it is. I went to the 2’ond story which was sorta hard.my favorite one on the second story was where you went on a swing jumped over to another swing then hoped through the tire and walked over two more swings! it was so fun! The hardest one there was where you walked on a cable and there were ropes dangling down to help me. Then I went to lvl 3. It was a lot harder. The easiest was where you were on a stump from a tree branch and went swung to another you did that three times and it was like 36 feet above the ground! But I did it! then there was a helicopter that i went in and it was a story above lvl three! you went across a board with nothing to grab on to. then you had to go back. but it was so much fun! we went home and the next day we went to a water park and it was huge! it was so much fun! we went on all sorts of family rides that can fit 5 people. we went in loopty loops and we went left we went right ad we wend down down down up up up. we had the time of our life

my brothers a teen now!

it was by brothers birthday and we went to mount Rushmore. but first we should stat at the beginning.first i woke up with my brother and said hey Logan you’re a teen now! he smiled and said “yup I’m a teen now” with a dreamy smile. but we played video games first then we went outside of our room and saw this.

Logan was so surprised he was saying thank you! already. We thought it was going to be a simple b day but nope! then we opened a pressent before we left to the other campsite. Siri sent us in the wrong direction! so instead of it being 30 min it was an hour! siri stinks at directions. then we did another present which is mine so I gave him the present to him. when we were at the Yellowstone gift shop he picked out a necklace that he loved so i got it for him and he was so happy!

We went to the town square and saw a park we walked by and saw some ice cream shops and food stores. we were looking for restraints. we went to covers because we didn’t know any other restaurants. so we went and ate a great meal! then we went back did a scavenger hunt and ate ice-cream at the park the ice cream I got was s’mores and Oreo cake mix ice cream it was delicious when you mix them. it made like a paste ice cream substance and a really good flavor! the cone was chocolate waffle cone with sprinkles. then we went to mount Rushmore and Siri made it from an hour to a 2 hour drive. we went at  night and so it was a spotlight show at 10 o’clock. we went and then it started hailing and raining it was awesome! we took cover in the store/gift shop our dad got the car as close as he can. then we ran about a football field to the car it was hilarious!

we went home with a map not Siri. we went home and opened the rest of the presents.he got a arsoft gun! me and my brother have been wanting one for so long! we were so happy!! that is the best day ever!

Yesterday

Yesterday was a hard day for us. We drove 5 houres and in the middle of it we met this kind loving man who we call uncle David. He was my dads old dad. He had 17 brothers and sisters. They had a hard time when they were young. We caught up about how he was doing because he hadn’t seen my dad since he was 8 now he is 50.  A fun fact about him is when my dad was swimming he beat a tree to death. He took mma ti quan do and a lot of other types of mma. So we drove he rest and when we got there we found out there was like no park at all. I played there because of the tether ball. And my dad played the first round was so hard he won both rounds but the first round I lasted a while then when I got home my mom had lost the trip money! All of the trip money was in that wallet.we searched and searched but couldn’t find it. We called the store that we used it last and… IT WAS THERE! We were so glad and happy! But now our dad is driving back four houres then driving back four houres to get it. It also had my moms drivers slicense in it! We found it and we were so happy!

Yellowstone!

Hey guess what! we went to Yellowstone National Park! it was beautiful. but first things first we have three days to fill up on.  on fourth of July we went to Butte and watched the fire work display. there were so much fireworks aside of the show you can’t tell when it started and when it ended. well u could tell if it ended because of the finale. when we got on the road we road for an hour and a half when we got there we set up and went to a concert/firework show. it was so much fun but the cold breeze nipped at our ears. we then went in the middle before the fireworks we  watched some fire works and when we went to get ours we got a match box. It was too old! when we went home we went got the lighter than that breeze picked up into a roaring storm! bummer! then next day was pretty I went over to a park and then met a few kids and one was really nice i played with him a lot he was funny and nice. he had brown hair small and athletic. his sister wanted to play house with me and i was the brother.  Of course I was a defiant little one. then the brother came and was the defiant little friend. it was fun. there was a nice breeze again. oh no 0=.  I said mom dad can we do fireworks before another storm comes in? they said we want to go the pool first and try the hot springs. In my head I thought nooo!! were going to miss my newly bought fireworks! and the hot springs have ben so nice but the storm picked up and no fireworks. the next day was a repeat of that day no fireworks no happy Aiden. and the next day we were moving to another camp site, but that’s ok. not! that national park doesnt alow fireworks and now its the 7 of july. and still no fireworks. )=; but we met alot of kids. i mean alot. and the thing you have ben waiting for is Yellowstone! we went to Yellowstone and it was beautiful! the geysers were like turquoise blue, baby blue, electric blue, and dark blue. also there was a little bit of green and yellow.  We saw Old Faithful explode!

4th of july!

first things first the most fun I have had in the last few days is the sifting for gems. im a gem nerd so i had so much fun! we bought a bag of gem krazythat is where u sift through a bag of newly mined gems. we found Sun rock, Amethyst, quarts, calcite, blue onix, Garnet, Smoky quarts, and saphires. we also saw fools gold.  when it was the third of july in one place the city had a bigger celebration on the third than the fourth does. and now it’s the fourth. of july. the fourth of july the one that selebrates the birth of america!
